FoodJet

See your product run on a FoodJet depositor before you commit.

Bring us your product and recipe. We run it on the right depositor, then show you weight, pattern and position on spec. You decide based on results from your own product, not a showcase.

Why a trial

A depositor only earns its place if it performs on your product, at your line speed. A trial removes that uncertainty before you commit. You see the deposit accuracy, the pattern and the changeover on your own recipe, measured, not promised.

The trial in three steps

Step 1 - Spoon test. You send a 5 kg/L sample of your product. We assess how your product behaves during dosing and confirm feasibility.

Step 2 - Machine test. We run your product on the right depositor and measure weight, pattern and position. Sample volume: 25 kg warm materials, 50 kg cold materials.

Step 3 - Trial with you present (optional). You attend the trial on site and see your product run live. Same volumes: 25 kg warm, 50 kg cold.

Trials are carried out by our test team at the test centre in Wijchen (Bijsterhuizen), where FoodJet also runs customer FATs. You can usually schedule a trial within four to six weeks. The trial duration itself depends on the material, your requirements and how much investigation the test needs.

What you get

A clear result on your own product: measured weight, pattern and position, the right machine configuration, and a realistic view of throughput. Enough to make the investment decision with confidence.

Proven worldwide

Vision-guided, software-defined depositing, proven across 150+ installations worldwide, from Norway to Argentina, from the US to Japan.

Can I test the machine with my own product?

Yes, that is exactly what a trial is for. You send your own product and recipe, we run it on the right depositor and measure weight, pattern and position on your own product, not a showcase sample.

How much sample do you need?

For the spoon test a 5 kg/L sample, so we can assess how your product behaves during dosing. For the machine test 25 kg of warm materials or 50 kg of cold materials.

Where do trials take place?

At our test centre in Wijchen (Bijsterhuizen, the Netherlands), where FoodJet also runs customer FATs.

What is the lead time for a trial?

You can usually schedule a trial within four to six weeks. The trial itself depends on the material, your requirements and how much investigation the test needs.

Can I be there during the trial?

Yes, you are welcome to attend on site and see your product run live. Same volumes apply: 25 kg warm or 50 kg cold materials.

What do I get afterwards?

A clear result on your own product: measured weight, pattern and position, the right machine configuration and a realistic view of throughput, enough to make the investment decision with confidence.
