We are FoodJet

FoodJet started as a family business with a strong belief: depositing is not “just dosing”. It’s the difference between a product that looks good on paper and a product that runs reliably on an industrial line, day after day. That’s why we combine engineering, software, and process validation to help manufacturers deposit materials with control over pattern, position, and dosing, depending on the application. Headquarters in Nijmegen (development & production) and a second location in Wijchen for testing and customer FATs, depending on the project.

At a glance

FoodJet develops precision depositing solutions for industrial food production from its headquarters in Nijmegen (development and production). We also use our Wijchen location for testing and customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), depending on product, material, and line setup.

A family-owned company

Our history

More than 40 years ago, the De Grood family founded a small medical services business. Back then, we were already focused on bringing innovative solutions to the market.

With the turn of the century, we developed a technology to jet liquid foodstuffs in a controlled and easily manageable manner. This was the start of FoodJet as we know it today, focusing on precision depositing solutions for bakery and confectionery applications.

Why FoodJet is unique

What makes FoodJet different is the combination of high-resolution depositing heads and software-driven control. With per-nozzle actuation and recipe-based settings, we can support targeted depositing and complex patterns across multiple lanes.

We operate worldwide

FoodJet operates internationally, with an international dealer network supporting customers locally.

Technology & creativity

Innovation in food production often means balancing creativity with control. New shapes, new recipes, and new product ranges are only valuable if they can run consistently at scale. That’s why we invest in technology that supports repeatable depositing and controlled changeovers.

In many cases, FoodJet solutions can support automating or upgrading existing processes.

Our team

Behind every FoodJet system is a multidisciplinary team: mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, software, and process technology. We work from concept and validation through to delivery, so what’s designed on screen also performs on the production floor.
