FoodJet Technology Center

FoodJet operates from its headquarters in Nijmegen, where we develop and build depositing solutions for industrial food production. We also have a second location in Wijchen, focused on testing and customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs). Together, these sites bring engineering, software and process validation together before installation.

What drives us

Flexible food depositors

With our precision depositing systems, we help manufacturers apply materials with control over weight, position and pattern. Our modular approach supports flexibility when product ranges change or on-the-line variation increases.

FoodJet sites

Nijmegen is our headquarters for development and production. Wijchen is set up for application testing and hosting customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs). This lets us validate a solution in a controlled environment before it is installed on your line.

Engineering heritage

We are a family business with over 40 years of engineering experience. Traditional machine building is our heritage; for more than 20 years, our focus has been depositing for applications that standard equipment cannot handle. Most of our people are engineers in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, software and process technology.

Market-proven benefits

For us, high-tech is not the goal; it is a means to achieve practical results on the production floor. We focus on solutions that make sense for your process and are backed by testing.

Let us help you

If you want to discuss your application or a new product concept, contact us. We will review what is needed and what is realistic.

Composing your depositing system

Our systems are built from modular, standardised components. Using our in-house 3D CAD library, we can create an initial proposal design efficiently and align early on layout, interfaces, and requirements, before detailed engineering starts.

Validate before installation

We aim to align the system with your specifications by validating critical process parameters early. Where feasible, we test ahead of installation and host Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) at our Wijchen location.

Material know-how

FoodJet has experience with non-Newtonian flow behaviour and how it impacts depositing stability and patterning. Where relevant, we can support rheology discussions and perform flow analysis for specific materials used in our depositing systems.

New product development

As product life cycles get shorter, food manufacturers face the challenge of creating new products that can attract attention in record time. To develop distinctive products at scale, manufacturers need flexibility and efficient changeovers.

Software and controls

FoodJet systems use industrial control components, including PC-based controllers, servo motion control and 2D/3D vision measurement. FoodJet’s depositing software is the FoodJet Control Platform (FJCP), which runs on every new FoodJet system and includes a pattern generator for building deposit patterns.

Every FoodJet system is configured and quoted to fit your line and your requirements.
