The MDLVW300 is a moveable C-frame that holds five depositing heads for decoration. It contains a jacketed holding tank, a sanitary servo-driven double screw pump, jacketed mass supply piping and the control cabinet. The frame can be docked onto an existing conveyor system or onto the floor. The entire frame is IP67, sanitary design with minimal cabling on the outside. It is built for demanding production and cleaning conditions. The entire liquid foodstuff circuit can clean itself with oil or hot water without any need for disassembly.
The depositing heads are positioned directly above the moving conveyors, allowing liquid foodstuffs to be accurately deposited on or into the products as they are transported without the need to start or stop the line. Each individual head can deposit onto a dedicated section of the conveyor belt. By using multiple heads, these sections can be connected to form a continuous array of depositing lines, capable of targeting products at any position across the effective width of the conveyor belt.
A vision system with camera scans the conveyor belt and detects the position, orientation, and shape of the incoming products. The control system translates this information into a depositing pattern that follows the contours of the product or its indentations. The depositor heads then apply a droplet pattern that accurately matches the shape and position of the product enabling precise and clean decoration, surface covering, or pocket filling.
The depositor head bays, connecting pipes/hoses and holding tank are water jacketed. An electrical central heater system circulates tracing water through the jacketed parts to keep the recirculating depositing material at an accurate temperature setpoint. The holding tank can be filled with pre-conditioned/heated depositing material from the top.
